I’ve had Staffordshire Terriers all my life. One of the most human friendly and loyal dogs there are. I had two older acquaintances who used to fight them. They always told me the reason the breed was so good was that any dogs that ever showed the first sign of aggression towards people was disposed of pretty quickly. Stupid people and gangbangers around here choose mixed breed pits because they are one of the most physically fit breeds there are and intentionally make them mean towards humans. Then when the dog gets in trouble for doing what he/she was taught to do, the irresponsible(often criminal gangbangers) deny having anything to with it. The Staffy’s that run with my hog hunting dogs won’t bother anyone. The Blackmout Cur hunting dogs I have are far more aggressive towards strangers than the Staffy’s.

————I don’t know much about the Staffys, but I have a 5 year old Black Mouthed Cur. The only time she ever displays any aggression is when someone comes to the door, and she barks like crazy until they come in, and then she licks them to death. Either that, or when our larger German Shepherd pup steals her food, she displays that she has wolf ancestors with some of the sounds that she makes. She is really a very docile dog, it’s not aggressive at all.

With regard to pit bulls, I have never had one, and while they look cool, everything that I have ever heard about them screams “stay away!”
