“The Blackmout Cur hunting dogs I have are far more aggressive towards strangers than the Staffys.”
————I don’t know much about the Staffys, but I have a 5 year old Black Mouthed Cur. The only time she ever displays any aggression is when someone comes to the door, and she barks like crazy until they come in, and then she licks them to death. Either that, or when our larger German Shepherd pup steals her food, she displays that she has wolf ancestors with some of the sounds that she makes. She is really a very docile dog, it’s not aggressive at all.
With regard to pit bulls, I have never had one, and while they look cool, everything that I have ever heard about them screams “stay away!”
Staffy’s or “Pit Bulls” some call them was “The Gentleman’s dog” strong, extremely fit, and excellent hunting dog, but needs to be run with Curs, or barking dogs. Staffy’s don’t bark much. They provide “backup” for the Curs.If you ever own one, raise it from a pup, teach it right from wrong(like people should teach their kids)Don’t mistreat it, but be firm with it. They are some of the best canine companions on the planet.
