Not a good plan. I had a buddy I used to work with who went to Utah on buisiness. Day off he went to The Great Salt Lake to some island/refuge. He encountered a bison and did NOT taunt it. Bison hit him and then the stare down began. He finally managed to edge away back to the parking lot where some folks saw him. Collapsed lung, broken ribs, dislocated shoulder, internal bleeding. Spent a few days in ICU. The park ranger told him he was lucky because if the bison had knocked him down instead of flipping him he’d probably have been killed. He wrote it up for Field and Stream or some outdoor publication. He recovered but was known as Buffalo Jim from then on.

Yeah. God built a big bruiser in the bison. 2,000 lbs of ‘’leave me the f alone or I'll end you quick’’ I've looked up the data on Mr. B. This guy can get up to a running gallop of 35 mph! Humans, in good condition, young and healthy, 12, maybe 15 mph tops and that's only going to be maybe a few hundred yards at best. Ice Age mammal meets stupid modern human. Yeah, you know who's going to be left standing after this.
