Teenagers are embarrassed by their parents’ existence. I have a 16-year-old son who wanders around at least 15 feet from the rest of us, so that nobody will think he’s associating with the lower primates.

I assume music was playing for the game’s audience for the purpose of inviting movement. If the son is that upset, he can stop accepting tickets to sporting events from his parents.

I used to embarrass my teenage daughter at the grocery store on purpose. Every time certain songs would start playing I’d start dancing along as I pushed the basket. Mortified her. Lol

most games unfortunately feature loud rock music between innings and sometimes between batters,

Yeah, you're right. I dropped my son off at school one day and just rubbed him on the back when he got out of the car. He was mortified. Mom's do deserve to have fun. I rescind my comments. I guess I was just thinking about some parents who compete with their kids socially..
