I’ve seen lots of movies. Anyone can fly a plane. You hop in and you go. Also, you can hack into any computer in under 5 minutes just by typing some stuff. Likewise, jumping 20 to 30 feet from one building to another is actually very easy, if you are being pursued by bad guys.

This is the Millennial view of just about anything. Airplanes, economies, relationships, work skills, etc. Pushing buttons and pulling (virtual) levers on a phone makes everything work, so why not in the Real World as well.

Most kids could care less about aviation (it is really sad). Do a psych eval on him, if he is ok and doesn’t have a record, get him some training, aviation is short A & P’s, AI’s, Pilots, and every logistic and support role you can think of....
