Actually, there was an excellent chance that Fox could win in 2015. Barry was on the extreme left, and as it turned out was the worst sort of moral degenerate and a criminal who pled guilty to a felony for misuse of office. Lee could’ve chosen to prominently back Fox, but instead he chose a sicko in Barry. That is unforgiveable.
The fact that as a “prominent” businessman, he has never been seen as a Conservative, nor a Republican, nor championing the causes of the right EVER. He has not been in the trenches, he has not paid his dues. He is as woefully inept as Pete Coors, the notoriously incompetent candidate the political establishment foisted on Colorado for a Senate race in 2004 he could not hope to win because he couldn’t debate himself out of a paper bag. Ah, if only money and not competence could’ve won the day. It’s why his Democrat opponent could start measuring for the drapes the moment he was nominated.
Lee has no credibility. He hasn’t hesitated to lie from the moment he got into the race claiming to be some sort of Christian Conservative. He ought to be struck down by lightning for that blaspheming falsehood. He cannot articulate principles or policies beyond his slick, faux pious ads.
No character. No integrity. Deceitful and fake. Literally no difference between him and the other left-winger in the race, La Raza Randy. They thought that by claiming Conservatism with not so much as a scintilla of proof that it somehow made them so. It just goes to show you that you can fool a substantial % of the electorate if you’re willing to lie your ass off. Proof of no conscience. That’s neither Conservative nor Christian.
As I said, I don’t support liars or con-artists, fakes or frauds, let alone demonstrable left-wingers. Mr. Lee proved he’ll say anything to get elected. I will not abide that ever. It’s why our political system is so broken. People like him haven’t the character to be elected dogcatcher, let alone the ability to prove capability for the job.
Anyone who wants to build or renovate anything in cities like New York or Chicago, cities run by iron fisted political machines, have to learn to cultivate relationships with the right politicians.
Or you can choose not to. Good luck getting so much as a building permit for your kid’s dollhouse.
