Yeah. I remember reading about a guy who loved to skydive and would tell people about how if he died in a jump it would be cool because he would “ die doing what he loved”.

So on a jump his chute failed and his reserve fouled. As he was screaming for the ground all he could think of was “ I don’t want to die, not now”.....
His reserve deployed at the last second.

Reminds me of the child, 11 years old, iirc, who died while flying an airplane, but “died doing what she wanted”. (Along with her idiot father). As long as everybody gets to do what they want...I guess...
