Stormy Daniels to get Vogue photo shoot — before Melania Trump gets her cover

James Woods probably won’t be happy about this.

The outspoken conservative actor this spring led outcry over the fact that Vogue magazine and other leading women’s magazines have failed to put Melania Trump on their covers since her husband became president.

Now comes news that Vogue, the nation’s premier fashion magazine, will serve up a high-gloss spread (though not cover shot) of Stormy Daniels, the adult film actress who claims she had a sexual encounter with future President Donald Trump in July 2006, a few months after Melania Trump gave birth to their son Barron.

The Huffington Post reported that iconic shutterbug Annie Leibovitz is handling Daniels’ inside photo shoot, so we can expect images that will be pretty distinctive. Vogue has not commented on the report, which says the Daniels feature is slated to appear in Vogue’s big September issue, which also is noteworthy for other reasons.

Beyonce will grace the cover, after Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour reportedly gave the music megastar unprecedented control over the image. Flexing her star power to broaden Vogue’s representation and diversity, Beyonce hired 23-year-old Tyler Mitchell to shoot the photo, making him the first black photographer to produce a cover in the publication’s 126-year-old history.

Meanwhile, former model Melania Trump last nabbed a Vogue cover in February 2005. Her cover came with a generous 14-page spread that highlighted details of the extravagant $100,000 Christian Dior wedding gown she wore to marry Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago.

But in 2005, Melania Trump was just the new wife of a reality TV star and self-proclaimed billionaire real estate mogul, not the first lady of a president known for his controversial policies and incendiary comments about minorities, women, Muslims and immigrants....

“So WHO on earth reads Vogue?”

Conde Nast, the owner of Vogue, is going through big changes, partly because of declining revenues - they ran at a loss last year.

The boss of forty years passed away, and new folks are taking positions throughout the company (and rumors have been widespread that Anna Wintour, the long-running editor, was getting ready to leave Vogue).

Here is a clip from the NY Times: “A sign of things to come was the hiring last year of Samantha Barry, who succeeded Cindi Leive, a Condé Nast veteran, as the editor of Glamour. Ms. Barry had no experience as a print editor, having run social media for CNN before taking over the magazine.”

The quality of a democracy/republic, will never exceed the quality of the press.

If I were the First Lady, I would skip the photo shoot. I wouldn’t demean myself posing for that magazine. What’s so great about Vanity Fair anyway? I think I have seen one issue in my entire life. I don’t feel as though I have missed a thing.

Why bother? You can go on pornhub and watch her doing all manner of nasty with various guys. I can't believe her husband is divorcing her. 😆

I don’t know why not, you would think it would be considered part of the job as First Lady. (I can understand why she wouldn’t want to be on the cover now.) I don’t think she was ever approached.

To be on Vogue?

I don’t think she was ever approached.

I think it's more likely she was approached but told them to go pound sand.

I doubt Melania would even want to pose for any of these snooty, leftists mags anyway. These mags have gone the way of the media........leftist and full of crap.

Right-and how long has it been since Vogue has featured a single garment any decent American woman would actually WEAR in public?

In my teenage years, Vogue was the last word on American ‘fashion’ and lots of girls would refer to what they saw in that publication. It has not been so for many years, now

NOW the entire tone of Vogue is smutty.
