You will get no argument from me re: military tribunals and their use on seditious and treasonous USCs. For the foreigners, their participation is along the same lines as terrorism. While there is some intelligence merit for interrogating them, if Q really ‘has it all’, I don’t see the point in apprehending these people.

Oh my my, everyday before school my mom would check to make sure I was wearing a slip and not my blue jean cutoffs. I'd pass her inspection, and then pull the shorts on on my way to school. Girls in slips don't play football and kickball and do cartwheels and handstands. Girls in slip were boring.

So, in my opinion there is no way that someone could stretch the 'unlawful combatants' definition, as described in the LOAC link you provided, to cover Cheryl Mills, for instance. Was she engaged in supporting the war vs the US? Did she do it openly? Terrorist supporter. USCs in tribunals? I don't see why not with the state of the premier law enforcement agency and the judiciary.
