An analysis of students in the US has found that those who have a certain type of brain parasite are more likely to be majoring in business studies.
Toxoplasma gondii is a protozoan parasite carried by cats. It can infect people through contact with cat faeces, poorly cooked meat, or contaminated water, and as many as one-third of the worlds population may be infected. The parasite doesnt make us feel sick, but it forms cysts in the brain where it can remain for the rest of a persons life. Some studies have linked infection with the parasite to slower reaction times, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, suicidal behaviour, and explosive anger.

Then why aren’t all these feminist cat women masters of the universe?
Should read “Women’s Studies”.
If you ever had a cat in the household you should get tested for Toxoplasma gondii.
Crazy Cat Lady Disease!!@
The cat lady on the Simpsons had that. She was a super lawyer business woman with lots of cats. No time for romance and human men. Wound up homeless and not insane. I think maybe there should be a test for the parasite to be done once a year for cat people.
All Democrats need to be tested.
This isnt news. Its chat.
It's also known to make you want to dip your bald head in oil and and rub it all over someone's body.
I don’t think this even rises to the level of “chat”.

I beg to differ; it IS news to some of us.
“

“...numerous studies have shown living in a household with a cat is not a significant risk factor for T. gondii infection,[29][47][52] though living with several kittens has some significance”

Yes I have seem that, yet many cat owners get the disease and are diagnosed ever year. Pregnant women seem to be more prone to getting it. Next visit to your GP ask for a test.

From your link:
“Predicting future trends in T. gondii prevalence in the United States is difficult because we do not have a national estimate of what proportion of T. gondii infections are attributable to undercooked meat exposure or to cat feces, soil, or water exposure. A large European case-control study that examined these factors showed that undercooked meat accounted for the largest portion of risk for T. gondii infection”
I understand one of the symptoms is a pathological hatred of motorcycle clubs.
