Cambridge Analytics seemed scary, Facebook data mining seemed scary, but this is really scary. The AI future is here.

merv shows that mutually escalating violence is likeliest to occur if theres a small disparity in size between the majority and minority groups (less than a 70/30 split) Leftist, statist, social-engineers now trying to use A.I. to push their social-engineering schemes, even though their own models admit that lack of cultural homogeneity leads to breakdown of trust and extreme violence.

the team found that people tend to secularize when four factors are present: existential security (you have enough money and food), personal freedom (youre free to choose whether to believe or not), pluralism (you have a welcoming attitude to diversity), and education (youve got some training in the sciences and humanities). If even one of these factors is absent, the whole secularization process slows down. This, they believe, is why the U.S. is secularizing at a slower rate ... Lying through their foul leftist teeth as usual.
They might as well have just come out and said, "Bitterly clinging to their guns and religion..."

pluralism (you have a welcoming attitude to diversity)I'm OK with diversity as long as they don't try to degrade or replace our culture with theirs. Otherwise, go back where you came from.

When you build a model, you can accidentally produce recommendations that you werent intending.Yeah, like the totally wrong IPCC global warming projections, which recommended ruining the world economy. Of course, maybe they intented that outcome so they built models to do that.

It’s a computer program, written by humans. It’s artificial, but not intelligence. It carries out the instructions of the programming team very rapidly. That’s not intelligence.

Living here in the strong delusion is a hoot, but atheism has its limits, too.
Those four factors dont mean doodily when that person or someone they love is critically injured or contracts some deadly disease.
It is said that there are no atheists in foxholes, but one doesnt have to go to war to suddenly find oneself or a loved one in a foxhole fighting for another day or even another hour of life.
Its a shame thats what it takes for some of us to wake up from rational delusion, but it is what it is and has always been this way.
Just another one of lifes tests, but this one is pass / fail.

There’s nothing new in computing that deserves the name “Artificial Intelligence”.
All we have is more computers, more data stored, and more communication.
