Our next civil war will not be a clash of opposing armies, but a violent and brutal wave of terrorist attacks, political assasinations and city destroying riots. I could see martial law being declared in some areas and US troops putting down the riots and restoring order. Imagine tanks surrounding the White House and Washington DC looking like post war Baghdad. Outside the larger cities well armed citizens, especially military veterans, will be defending their homes and communities. Rioters and looters will be shot on sight. CNN will be off the air due to cyber sabotage and left wing politicians will dare not show their faces. Elections will be tightened with US troops and National Guard on the ready at polling stations. Every citizen will have a national ID and illegal immigrants will be fleeing en mass. Leaders of the leftist rebellion will be rounded up and face war time justice under charges of treason and sedition. Many prominent leftist politicians, FBI agents and more than a few left wing journalists will be sumarrly executed or spend years in desolate prison camps. It make take at least a generation for things to resemble normal
