Chuck’s house with him in it was on fire at the end of Season 3 so the result was obvious. As for Walt and Jesse not appearing in this season, Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould said at Comic-Con that they could have teased viewers all season about an appearance but said the tease would have detracted from other aspects of the show. HOWEVER, they hinted that they would appear sometime in the future.
