The first season was pretty good. The 2nd season was really Blahh to me. The third season was good.
But this show does not come even close to the thrill of Breaking Bad.
He went to eleven. In bcs, he went to heaven.
Brits say the word series for season (as in tv show seasons). I thought you outed yourself!
yes, Howard was every bit as greasy as Chuck, but his priority was to his law firm; Chuck’s was to his vendetta against his brother which endangered the firm.
“Howard is almost as greasy,”
Howard’s demeanor was very off-putting, but as the series progressed he seemed to be an OK person. He had some sense of honor. I felt bad for him when Jimmy forced Howard to fire him. (It was a hilarious episode, though.)
I think Howard wanted Chuck gone; he was a growing embarassment. But it was noble of him to pay a big chunk of Chuck’s severance out of his own pocket.
It’s the way he’s treated Kim that keeps me from liking him too much. I don’t trust him.
The original plan was to do the show as a comedy. Instead they made it into a character drama. Much better for that decision.
Loved breaking Bad and love Better call Saul. Well done well written, as I expected.
I agree, much better. Looking forward to the new ones now I see it’s been released.
That's just nutty.
The episode alone, where Jimmy took down Chuck in the hearing, was one of the best episodes of TV I have ever seen.
I see I’m not the only one. :-)
Better Call Saul had its rewarding moments, but it took a lot of time to set things up. It built more slowly and deliberately to climax with fewer subplots.
Also, the Jimmy-Kim interplay may remind people of the Walter-Skyler dynamic, which for some people was the worst thing about the earlier series - too much like real-life relationships.
Good point. I was expecting Howard to be a big villain, but he eventually comes across as one of the few honorable people in the show! Great performance as a high price oily lawyer.
Freegards
bullcrap.
you can watch it for zero dollars on streaming internet.
netflix owns amc?
amc created and runs both series on its amc channel.
well hell, in spinal tap, he went to 11.
