Dallas police took six teens into custody for committing at least four robberies Sunday morning -- including robbing a couple at gunpoint who were out walking their dog.
The couple were out walking their dog just after midnight Sunday morning near the Bishop Arts District. A neighbor’s surveillance camera captured this video of three boys approaching them with guns drawn, yelling, “Give me your wallet! Give me your phone!”
Real Texans would have put these ferals in the ground. These people were probably gun free zone yankees who moved to Texas for a job.
Yes, but it has devolved to the point where the media is now editing and redacting material that can be used to identify subjects who are still at large.
The media has long used “PC” labels to describe “minority” thugs and hoodlums, but they often included at least a descriptor that could be used to identify said hoodlum.
Now, they are actually removing any reference to said descriptors, which in turn makes it difficult for members of the public to identify and know information necessary to identify and help in apprehending said suspects.
The example I gave above is real. The media in that case actually removed the work “black” from a descriptor of a rape suspect even though police had given out that description. Said suspect is still at large.
One of these days..
THe victims will give up a cell phone.
The thugs will jump back into the auto and jet.
The phone will sense the owner is out of range, then the phone will detonate...

No, for decades they have redacted minority descriptors. You just haven’t been around this site long enough to see the history.
Two things happen in media, and have been going on for longer than this site has been around, but this site has been good at noting it.
Minorities are protected in criminal activities. The easiest description being the skin color is ommitted.
When unseemly politician behavior is being reported on, if the politician is a republican, you will know it in the first sentence. If a demoncrat, it may not be included in the article at all.

Yeah got to agree with you there. These vermin bushwacked them. I applaud the guy for trying to shield his wife (GF) from the thugs. Even in my best day, I could not have gotten the draw on them already with a shot gun pointed my way.
This is not the perps first rodeo. What annoys me is when they do catch up with them, they will be treated like minors, even if they seriously injure someone.
The way they are going, the perps are going to get bolder and kill someone before its all over
Whenever I hear “arts district,” I think of a recently-”gentrified” crappy neighborhood. We have some of those in Houston, like the Heights, Midtown, and now “EaDo.” These are places where you can pay $500,000 or more for the privilege of living in a 1,000 square foot bungalow, walk to fancy restaurants, and experience just as much risk of a mugging or car burglary as you would have in a much poorer neighborhood.
Everyone I know who lives in the Heights has been mugged or had their cars broken into at least once. One was mugged in broad daylight answering his front door. Yet houses still go for $400k to $1.5 million there.

This is why I don’t walk my dog unarmed. I’m not going to kick these people while they are down, because frankly they shouldn’t have to worry about walking their dog after midnight, but they are very lucky these vermin were only after money.
As they curled up down on the ground shielding his wife, probably would have given him time to covertly slip his firearm out in case these thugs were going to shoot them anyway, he might have been able to send at least one of them to meet Jesus. Who knows. Hard to couch quarterback this.
