The severely elongated head Check.

"Unfortunately, there was no scientific rationale to undertake genomic analyses of Ata, because the skeleton is normal," Check.

Let's summerize:

severely elongated head=normal.

Got it.

Let me get this straight: Rip apart living babies in the womb and sell their pieces parts to the highest bidder - perfectly legit.

Insert a needle into a decades, or even centuries, old skeleton that is presenting unusual morphology - "OMG - the scientists are exactly like Hitler's Dr. Mengele!"

I have never seen a six inch long fetus or skeleton, so I really have no reference to compare that thing to.

Obviously a severe genetic defect. The fetus was 15 week or so, likely a spontaneous aborthon, miscarriage.

So, the authors of the new study say the old study
might not have been valid to do, but THEY did it right?

Nothing new. Lewis and Clark found this in their expedition.

Who are the control freaks trying to boss around the researchers?

The hypocrisy of the Left is unbelievable. They worship "science" when it promotes their agenda. But should "science" prove uncomfortable, well then it's Katie bar the door! Kennewick man is another example. Or the Bell Curve.

Additionally, these Godless atheists suddenly find "spirituality" and "sacredness" in ancient third world "tan people" remains including fetuses. And yet back in the USA they have no problems with dumping human remains from abortions into the garbage bin for disposal.

mummy ethics went down the toilet a long time ago.

Compliments of AP - 1996

A top Peruvian anthropologist said Friday that President Clinton's joke about the sex appeal of an Inca mummy was "tacky," and criticized the display of the mummy in Washington. Other Peruvian scientists complained that the 500-year-old frozen mummy, known as the Ice Princess, was being used by Peru's president to bolster his image.

Clinton joked during a political fund-raiser that the mummy was "good-looking" and if he were single he might ask her out. "That mummy looks better than I do on my worst days," he said.

Anthropologist Sonia Guillen said "obviously there's a lack of respect" in Clinton's remarks.

The phony-baloney excuse for destroying and paving over the mise en scene of Kenniwick Man so as not to offend people who were unikely to be his descendants is an extreme example of this silliness.

Kristina Killgrove, co-author of the new study and an assistant professor of anthropology at the University of West Florida, wrote in an article for Forbes.

There are tiny, delusional controlling people everywhere...

We did not participate, and WE are the center of the universe, so we must condemn this outrage in the strongest possible terms, private collections, blah blah blah...
