She's making history as the first female Time Lord on the popular BBC One series.
And now the first full length Doctor Who trailer starring Jodie Whittaker has been unveiled to fans at the Comic-Con International in San Diego on Thursday.
In the 30-second video, it sees the actress, 36, as the legendary Time Lord as she joins her new Tardis team for a series of adventures.

She can’t be a Time Lord. She can only be a Time Lady.
somewhere the vagina monologues are playing...I’ll head there.
It’s a skip for me, too.
Gender-bending Time Fop
Give me Romana II.
I’ll give her a chance but I am not expecting a lot.
How many men have ever been cast in that?
Annnnddddddd...... Pass. Isn’t she going to have lesbian interests too? Yeah, no thanks.
Missy was entertaining at times.
Mere detail.
There is self-identification and all that.
The wussification of all Super Heroes proceeds apace. There will be a mass exodus from this genre. Metrosexuals and homosexuals won’t make much of an audience.
I’d think they’d have a Muslim Time Lord by now. Or rather, a Time Mullah.
Big Finish has a large collection of audio dramas of Dr. Who and others.
Star Cops is available.
The Prisoner ones are very good too.
BBC America last night aired a lost episode with animation filling in the gaps featuring Tom Baker and Romana. That Time Lady had a sense of style.
Formerly popular.
The popularity has dropped off a lot.
And probably more so with this.
“At the end of the trailer, Jodie as the Doctor can be seen clutching her head as she adds: ‘So if I asked really, really nicely would you be my new best friends?’”
Oddly enough, that isn’t a parody. Maybe she’s channeling Sally Fields.
I heard that there's a new batch of writers for this one. I don't have high hopes.
Very much so.
Will her companion be:
1. Black homosexual male
2. White male, but a complete cuck soy boi
3. Fem lesbian, likely “of colour”
4. Brilliant Muslime alpha male
The Doctor has been dead since they moved on from Tom Baker.
I’m sure this will be just as hugely successful as the new Ghostbusters.
