I’d like to know the exact words said.

Yeah. And the context to. I have yet to learn what the Papa John's guy said. From what I can tell during a training conference call about what you can say and can't say he said, "Col. Sanders could call someone a 'nigger', but we can't." I still don't know if this is correct or not.

We're almost to the point at which HR departments will issue all employees with thick handbooks listing the words and phrases that will warrant firing … and blank out the text lest SJW's be triggered by seeing them in print.

Operationally, the rule is that you can be fired if you say anything that offends a member of a protected class. What that might be can never be known in advance. It's like dealing with an impossible wife. "Yes, dear" and "Whatever you say, dear," are the only acceptable responses.
