A 43 year old man named Mark Einerwold was served an arrest warrant on Tuesday in connection to three burglaries in South Dakota.
According to KDLT News,
“While serving the search warrant, detectives found what they say were bomb making materials and chemicals. The Sioux Falls Police bomb squad were called to the residence and authorities evacuated the surrounding area.
Authorities say they found multiple explosive devices as well as aluminum nitrate and aluminum powder, which authorities say have no use other than for an explosive device.”
KDLT also reports that “multiple items related to Antifa, an anti-fascist militant group” were found in Einerwold’s residence. It is unclear why Einerwold held explosives in his possession, but authorities believe they stopped something from happening.
An investigation into Einerwold possession of the explosives is now ongoing, according to KDLT, and further charges are expected.
Not those dangerous, violent Tea Partiers again!
More gun control would eliminate this problem.

The reporter is doing the RIGHT thing in mot prejudging the accused. MAYBE there is an explanation for the chemicals being in his possession? Leave it to the prosecutor to convince a jury; it's not the job of a reporter to do that.
They reported the facts without reaching a conclusion on guilt or innocence. We should encourage that in a reporter.

Technically, you are right. In this day and age, of total PC, however, that usually doesn’t cut the mustard. If it were a Trump supporter, the media would have crucified him 2 minutes after the story broke. Since this chump was a leftist, he could have shouted from the rooftops, that his bombs were made to kill Trump supporters, and the ass hats 🎩 in the media, would still say his motives were unclear.

I'm not happy with "this day and age" reporting. I'm not sure of this guys political views (I'm not so sure they are clear to him in fact) and they shouldn't cloud the legal system or the reporting. The police had a search warrant based on some evidence they gave to a judge implicating him in three burglaries. In the process they discovered other materials which may be/likely to be bomb related, but the prosecutors still have to show that he had criminal intent to use that material to a jury beyond a reasonable doubt.
We can not abandon due process even if our political opponents are ready and willing. It's what separates us from the armed mob and the anarchists who this person may turn out to be a part of.
Some days I feel a kinship to the "get a rope and hang 'em" bunch of FReepers. But when I think about it reasonably I just want the criminal justice system to work as designed and for reporters to report facts and remain somewhat neutral. Questioning the intelligence of a reporter when they get it right is not something I view as a good thing.
Those are not necessarily explosive precursors; more likely they would be used in incendiaries. Not really sure how to view this. I’m pretty sure many of us have chemicals and materials around the house that would make for salacious stories. Any hardware, grocery or feed store has enough hazardous materials for an improvised destructive device. Unless the components are assembled, or there are obvious designs or containers, this is the equivalent of thought crime.
I, for one, get tired of the press’s overheated articles. When every gun is an assault weapon; every case of ammunition is stockpile; every gun collection is an arsenal; every gas can is a bomb; every redneckh is terrorist; it’s hard to believe any of the hype. Then again—since it’s an Antifa punk—take him out and lynch him. /s
i want the justice system to work too. My point, is not about the justice system. My single, and only point, is the liberals in the media. If this reporter is a liberal, the odds are he would act like a liberal, and say exactly what he did. If it was a Trump supporter, as a liberal, he would probably report it differently. That’s my only point. I doubt, that however the dude reports it, will have any affect on the prosecutor.

Yes it’s the same guy. I’ve been reading thru his and his brothers FB Page today. Not sure what to make of this situation. He’s had terrible health problems (brain cancer 2x, gambling problems, family I’ll esses, and consequences of those two things. He definitely comes off as a ‘victim’ by guilting people to give money to him.
His brother says the explosives was tannernite. He seems like a low life honestly.
Curious how he ended up with these extensive burns to his hands tho.
