Arteries are quick and you just can appreciate how quick. Over the weekend I was working around the house and got a puncture on the palm of my hand from a finishing nail. I could not believe it. Blood squirt 10-12 inches in spurts and there was lots of it. I did apply pressure for about 15 minutes until it stopped. Luckily I had a tetanus shot around Xmas.
