The Rangers’ closer is pretty good, I can see Cleveland making that deal.
You called it! Except the Indians did it with the Padres:
“In a sudden and abrupt development, the Indians and Padres announced a blockbuster trade Thursday that will send one of baseballs best relievers, Brad Hand, and emerging setup man Adam Cimber from San Diego to Cleveland in exchange for catcher/outfielder Francisco Mejia one of the top-regarded prospects in all of baseball.”
BTW, I wanted to ask you, do you think Paul McCartney is imitating Bob Dylan’s country music voice on “Get Back”? Dylan’s “I’ll Be Your Baby Tonight” came out a year earlier.
The “Get Back” vocal really sounds like “Nashville Skyline” to me, but that album came out after “Get Back” was recorded.
BTW, on the traded Indians catcher/outfielder Francisco Mejia — the Indians wanted him to play more outfield, where they needed him at the moment, and he was not happy about it.
So there’s another incentive for them to deal him.
