Yup. The “marriage” is just a vehicle to get things like health benefits and tax breaks. And to have society reward gay behavior with a “Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval”.

At work, we had one gay co-worker who was “engaged”. Day after day, he would wander over at lunch, he would gush all about how great is fiancé was. This went on for a few months. It ended abruptly after his fiancé put him in the hospital and my co-worker had to get a restraining order to keep his fiancé out of his house. LOL.

Not that similar things don’t occasionally happen to hetro couples — they do. But interesting that this happened in a sample size of 1.
