Okay, starting to get worried about would and wouldn’t. Trump doesn’t make mistakes like that. Anyone care to elaborate on it. I have watched him for almost three years and never remember him having to walk back statements.
On the substance, his "correction" is just about pointless. No matter which way he says the "corrected" remark, he is saying that any hacking could have been by any country - implicilty rejecting IC fixation on Russia to the exclusion of all other actors.
I do agree though, the "correction" was delivered to drive the press and his detractors more crazy. IOW, he doesn;t really feel he misspoke yesterday, but with all the hoopla going on, he decided to give an appearance of backtracking. Strike while the iron is hot!
