BlackFly is a flying car that anyone can 'drive'.
These vehicles perform amazingly. I'd fly one any day.
100 octane av gas here is close to 6.00 per gallon.
Which only makes it worse, because I was assuming a price of about $4/gallon.
I found its weight at 313 lb (assuming w/o pilot because they talk about 200 lbs. payloadd). Ultra light is max 254 lbs. w/o pilot. This might be able to meet “light sport” classification and I cannot find a minimum weight for light sport. However, Light Sport is described as unpowered or single engine piston. Back Fly is multi motor electric. Light Sport classification would lift a lot of the restrictions. But I do not think there is an existing class that this actually fits. Don’t forget that gravity thing, it has worked every time I have used it.
Its classified as ultralight by FAS. It is an electric that can fly 25 miles at a top speed of 62 mph
It aint a car. And with those limitations it aint going anywhere. Once again Larrys been drinking
Oh and its a start up
Black fly would be a hit with S.W.A.T.
Range is only 25 miles. Good thing your friend lives close.
Tie it to a lamp post and leave it running.

If it is not flying in G Airspace the FAA will not allow it to happen. Their is little to no G Airspace around cities. You will still need a license from the FAA.
Aint gonna happen and it should not happen.
nope I’ll stick to what I’m flying now. this is a very limited and expensive toy. You can learn to fly and buy a used 172 for that kind of money.
Correct. You still need an ultralight license.
Agreed with the rest
People will fly the same way that they drive. I can just see the types of drunk driving accidents in the air. Planes will be falling out of the sky.
But on the other hand it might be Darwins way of thinning out the herd.
