Saturday, family and friends will gather to remember Justine Damond, the woman killed in a high-profile officer-involved shooting in Minneapolis.
Sunday will mark one year since Damond's death. At 3:30 p.m. Saturday, a memorial park bench will be dedicated to Damond at Minnehaha Creek.
Family members say that's where Damond and her fiance Don first expressed their love for one another. After that, 51st Street near the alley where Damond died will be closed off so people can reflect and remember her.
Later in Australia, Damond's family will hold a vigil as the sun rises Sunday morning there.
Damond was shot and killed by former Minneapolis police officer Mohamed Noor. He is charged with third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter
Thanks for doing the legwork. It’s Minnesota. He’ll do less than 10.
IIRC only 10% actually has to be put down in cash, so that would be $40K. The rest would be taken by the court if the criminal does not show up for the hearings and trial.
I am just guessing but I would bet that, even though he has been fired, the police union helped pay the 10% deposit.
An appropriate memorial would be the conviction and public hanging of the subhuman filth that killed her.
That’s good. Do you recall the circumstances? I don’t remember hearing about it when it happened.
Or you can search Damond in Titles
1) Why are these creatures here?
2) How can we quickly remove them from our country?
End of story......
I do have a ping list to the ongoing story, here.
