Of course, the Queen smiled politely when she met Michelle Obama, but not nearly with the beaming delight she plainly felt when she greeted Melania. Our current FLOTUS must have a very impressive and endearing presence about her when she is in the room.

The smile on QE2's face!! Everyone seems to BEAM when they meet Melania.
Fashion note....Melania did it perfectly. She wore appropriate summer colors which coordinated with whatever women she was with. With women of prominence, her color choices coordinated but were more subdued. Her pale yellow gown was described as evoking what Aphrodite would look like.
