I have bought enough women’s clothes past 30 years to buy a nice home in Beaufort SC on the water with a deep water dock

If only they had all worn Tar Jay we’d have that mossy live oaks adorned lie country retreat

Instead most of it got resold

I’m in that sub PJ strata where Wifey likes fancy but we have to watch how we buy it

Prada yes on occasion

Birken Bag not likely

At Chanel boutique bouclé suit is pretty high too

5000 to 15,000

Again not likely

I just looked up standard Black with good trim

8900 new at Neimans

Looks good though is properly tailored

My wife loves Phoebe Philo at Celiné

It ain’t cheap and it has no identifiable logo

She says women who know ...know

Women like me wife dress for peers not husbands

“Hey honey how about that sexy helmet Lang outfit tonight you know with nice cleavage “

Crickets

Nope the usual boho baggy expensive crap

I’m like why 25 years of yoga then....

I've done some couture sewing, all the layers of linings, underlinings, boning, weightings to give that effortless structure. Vintage Chanel was always my favorite, but Jackie wore Givenchy. Most of what fashion is now is about what a man can draw who does not understand draping, sewing, relying on stretchy fabric instead of skill. That bouclé fabric, sometimes a very loose weave, would stretch out of shape quickly if you didn't have lining, underlining, and weights.

I follow FLOTUS fashion avidly, but there have been a handful of misses. Some designer did a real flop months back, it was a tight blue shift that made her tummy look prominent. Then, a photo of her sitting down in the same dress and the fabric bunched up around her waist. This is a dead giveaway of a poorly fitted and designed garment. It didn't become her standing up, and looked worse sitting down. Sleazy fabric.

I don't want to wear the stuff, too uncomfortable. But that yellow coat dress! Fabulous.
