I've done some couture sewing, all the layers of linings, underlinings, boning, weightings to give that effortless structure. Vintage Chanel was always my favorite, but Jackie wore Givenchy. Most of what fashion is now is about what a man can draw who does not understand draping, sewing, relying on stretchy fabric instead of skill. That bouclé fabric, sometimes a very loose weave, would stretch out of shape quickly if you didn't have lining, underlining, and weights.

I follow FLOTUS fashion avidly, but there have been a handful of misses. Some designer did a real flop months back, it was a tight blue shift that made her tummy look prominent. Then, a photo of her sitting down in the same dress and the fabric bunched up around her waist. This is a dead giveaway of a poorly fitted and designed garment. It didn't become her standing up, and looked worse sitting down. Sleazy fabric.

I don't want to wear the stuff, too uncomfortable. But that yellow coat dress! Fabulous.

Yes fashion is mostly gay men wanting women who look like boys to look like andro boys

Exceptions though

Phoebe and Stella and Isabel Marsnt

Some of the danish designers and Dutch too

Burberry stuff

Ralph Lauren top shelf

Dolce and Dior too all flatter women

Lord Lagerfield also flatters women

Yes I’m too familiar I have been so trained in it

I should photo wifeys closet....shoes alone

She’d kill me

It’s aint Lisa vanderpump but it’s good for a Charleston girl not raised with a silver Manalo in her mouth
