The crimes were committed in DC.

But he lived in Lorton, Virginia. When he left it, his house had a lot of computer equipment and unusual internet access. If it can be shown that he was accessing the DC computers from Virginia to collect data or transfer data to Pakistan, I would think he could be charged in Virginia.

Yes would be interesting to read but doesn’t change the fact that Awan will not be charged for any non-violent crime he committed in that jurisdiction prior to the plea for wire fraud.

That is one hell of a carte blanch letting him off the hook.

Which is why I hate Jeff Session’s.

Fascinating link. Wictor speculates that Strozk is an Iranian spy and that this whole thing with him is on the order of investigating the Hanssen spy debacle.

What he shows is quite fascinating and explains a lot if true. It does seem to hang together, so should be at least considered and dug into further. Should not be dismissed out of hand, imho.

Thanks LJ for bringing us the story.

Agree. Accepting this plea cannot bind any other US Attorney from filing charges in another jurisdiction.

Loopholes, there's always a loophole.

your client will not be charged with any non-violent criminal offense in violation of Federal or District of Columbia law which was committed within the District of Columbia by your client prior to the execution of this Agreement and about which this Office was made aware by your client prior to the execution of this Agreement, all of which is contained in the attached Statement of Offense.

Q has mentioned that many small players have been allowed to resign in order to get them out of the government. PDJT is removing the smaller fry who can help the big players or distract the narrative from its course or perhaps nothing more than being the fall guys. There are many fewer fall guys available than a year ago.

So far it looks like a well executed plan. The fact that it is slower then we would like is immaterial. So far, about 75% believe that there is a Deep State and that is a huge jump from when he started the plan.

This highly fluid plan has so many objectives that it is difficult to understand how it is to work. Just be patient.

But my post still stands. Where do we go from the endpoint of the plan? Will PDJT call for a states rights convention? Does the plan contain some answers to the question?

Not just interesting to read, but crucial to your point. ANYTHING that Awan himself didn't make the court aware of (telling on himself) is not covered by any stipulation the court made regarding future charges.

Especially when the court made it clear that their ruling didn't BIND any other prosecutorial agency.

Here's how you may be right. Anything that Awan told the court that he did or was being accused of (but not charged with) may be subject to the terms of the deal as you describe them.

Anything else is and remains fair game. The bottom line is this. Awan is still exposed to any and all of his IT/spying related charges in ANY jurisdiction, including D.C.

Think about it. How could any court possibly rule that un-made charges not brought before the court and argued be ruled out of bounds. That on it's face is ridiculous, even to an untrained legal mind such as mine. And should be to yours too.

Unless of course, he made the court aware of ALL the dirt he did that we suspect (know) he did.

Expand your thinking.

Wow. Are you as smart as me, blu?

I really liked your response until I got to the “expand your thinking” part which sounds insulting. I’m sure it’s not though :)

I see that too as a possible loophole but from reading tons of articles about his plea deal, and the fact that the prosecutors said they have nothing IT related to charge him with, I don’t see an out.

However, If there is a way for this sob to be charged I want to see it happen as much as anyone. I don’t have any faith that it will.

And I hate Session’s

They already have the IT information from NSA and they don’t need this guy’s testimony, so they didn’t ask about it and may have interrupted his attempts to introduce it.

Dude’s going to be eating Gitmo food for a long time.

You’re free to bow anywhere you want but you don’t define what an American bows to. You define what you bow to and I define what I bow to and everyone else defines that for themselves, too. I support any individual who bows to God and any individual who doesn’t. I am so grateful that I live in a country that insists on that right for each person.

I want to believe this. Please tell me how this works with the plea deal for something completely unrelated to his IT work.
