Great TV. Dems seek to close House hearing with Strzok. The House investigation into Strzok's FBI behavior is in chaos. Dems trying every trick in the book to dismiss the hearing. Nadler and Lee are leading the circus. Words have no meaning according to Dems. Gowdey getting spooled up.
If the texts did not translate into bias, why did Mueller remove him from the investigation?

Because of the "appearance" so apparently Mueller was no capable of defending this "appearance" because he would call into question his circus and the Dem ringleaders.

Honestly, I don’t know why anyone is surprised by this. I knew Strzok would declare himself an unbiased patriot then clam up when asked a potentially damaging question. Pretending not to “recall” the texts is just that much Chutzpah, as is the smirking. Likewise, showboating from Republicans and obstruction from Democrats was a given.
The dude is a liar, I’m not buying anything he says in his own defense.

Correct. I turned it on enought to get a sense of his demeanor, which is exactly as I anticipated. This is a grandstand show for Congressmen and nothing more. Nothing new or revealing is ever going to come out in a public hearing. And if anyone thinks these people worry about lying to Congress, they are truly naive.

I just keep thinking that Lisa Page gushed all over Comey as he was making his trainwreck of an address to the nation. If she is really so blinded by bias to view that disaster as anything other than a disaster, I suppose that explains her blindness in hooking up with someone like this who makes most people’s skin crawl.

Yeah I noticed that too, almost like he is spitting out an agreed upon account and remembering a bunch of self-congratulatory banter that went with it.
At least Nadler had the decency to look ashamed and sad as he began his defense of this guy.
