Honestly, I don’t know why anyone is surprised by this. I knew Strzok would declare himself an unbiased patriot then clam up when asked a potentially damaging question. Pretending not to “recall” the texts is just that much Chutzpah, as is the smirking. Likewise, showboating from Republicans and obstruction from Democrats was a given.
Correct. I turned it on enought to get a sense of his demeanor, which is exactly as I anticipated. This is a grandstand show for Congressmen and nothing more. Nothing new or revealing is ever going to come out in a public hearing. And if anyone thinks these people worry about lying to Congress, they are truly naive.
not remembering is the normal reply when what they DO remember will be incriminating EVEN when they have given the answer on a deposition.
Do they learn this at law school or only when they get into the Dept of INjustice?
