I don't have to worry about this as my dog is not a licker.

Has anybody truly watched what and where their dog licks? 😀

I love dogs, don’t get me wrong, but we had a border collie mix when we were kids, she would slip you the tongue when she could if you weren’t careful. Bleh! LOL!

Should you let your dog lick your face?
Sure, why not?

Dogs eat their own feces - so not a great idea.

That which does not kill us, makes us stronger.
I believe Americans are TOO clean, to the point of paranoia. A little snake venom now and then eventually innoculates most people against the toxicity of a full snake bite. I believe a little dirt and grime and filth once in a while growing up helps to innoculate us against more potent things. Ithink people who live too clean too long get weak and set themselves up for serious illness by something nasty hat comes along. I wonder if some of our First world diseases are not caused in large part from being too clean.
I am not aware of a single person who ever wound up in the hospital because his dog licked his face.

I let them lick the side of my face/cheek. They're very sweet.

I occasionally lick my own minor wounds: lessens pain, speeds healing.
Not kidding. Science nerd. But dogs? No.
