Good news for 3D Printing of weapons.

This reminded me of the Netflix Lost in Space series with a 3D Printer that wouldn’t allow the printing of a weapon without authorization. Then the Robot hacked it to protect Will Robinson.

Can he implement any safeguards in the print feature that would not instantly allow felons or mentally deranged people from downloading this ability just because they ask for it?

This is a good thing. Freedom. He drives the liberals crazy along with the authoritarians. Felons are already able to break the law by making a zip gun for $8. This is an excellent advancement of technology and freedom.

Great news! Now mentally disturb kids on Prozac looking to shoot up a class room don’t need to break into the parent gun cabinet...and no background checks or waiting periods! Just a $200 3D printer. Viva Technology!
