I dated a girl in high skrool ‘78 or ‘79(once) who was very allergic to peanuts. I love them and ate peanut butter almost daily.

A month or so later, she walked into a BBQ joint and asked if their sauce had peanut butter in it and explained her situation. She died of anaphylactic shock right there in the booth.

I was promoted to Sacramento with a guy I worked with in soCal. Our old boss a prison superintendent came to sacramento and bunch os went to lunch.

My boss had said and he fell on the floor red faced. His current assistant gave him ,mouth to mouth and save this lie and he went away in an ambulance.

Peanut allergy. Next day he was ok.

Me and my crazy friend called the institution and asked the cook to send a case of peanuts to the superintendent’s office and he said are you trying to get me fired. We had peanuts for the names on movie night paid for from the canteen fund. All the cooks knew about the allergy, but no one in sacramento.
