No lawsuit. There has to be a good faith effort to tell the company. I guarantee you that calls were not returned and letters ignored. The electric company does not just shut off homes Willy-Nillie.
Okay - and thanks.
The portable units are battery powered, those used at home use electricity.
Boy, that would be unfortunate. It would generate electricity, toxic fumes, and fire. Imagine the lawsuit there,
.
>> “Oxygen tank powered by electricity? Ive seen lots of them and none of them were electric powered.” <<
Precisely!
Something else is afoot here.
.
I am calling BS on the Hospice too. If she were on hospice, living on her own the Hospice folks would have been aware of the situation. They could have (and would have) contacted the utility.
.
You must be president of Mensa!
It might even take two cords, insurmountable!
.
She was trying to catch her breath she was gasping for air,” Daniels granddaughter, Mia, 28, told the news site Sunday. “She suffered and she passed right in front of us. She was gasping until the time she died.”
***
Well, Mia, why didn’t you and the rest of her family care enough about her to pay the bill? Exactly what were you buying with her Social Security money?
Probably a generator.. Family member has one
.
I think what you’re talking about uses potassium chlorate and heat to release oxygen.
Unless the family was too ignorant to tell them.
I am picturing this house full of people wringing their hands because the power was off and grandma had no oxygen. I can picture the same people not doing anything else...just waiting and calling the electric company.
Mind boggling.
Mother had one. It’s an oxygen concentrator/generator.
Something's not right.
Sorry for your loss. Prayers.
She would have given you the shirt off her back.
I've seen some battery powered oxygen concentraters. If you are a commercial pilot, you have likely have similar technology on your plane, although not electrically powered.
Im probably called racist more than anyone else on this forum and other virtue signaling dog whistle nomenclature designed to shit me up
But I find this story to be plausible
Some folks simply dont have a pot to piss in
And not enough sense to fix problems
I doubt they let her die on purpose
Some power companies will damn sure turn off your power for squat
Its computerized
I own car washes
Last week we inadvertently were late on a 1200 dollar bill and no mind they have a 4000 dollar cash deposit for that locale
Four days past due and no warning they cut off the water
Cost me hundreds and its hard on pumps and osmosis machines etc
Monopolies are like govt
She was gasping for 6.5 hours after the electricity was turned off and they didn’t think to take her to the emergency room?
Something doesn’t add-up.
Well, some “personal injury” lawyer just won the lottery.
Lawyers? Sue?
