Women prefer to marry up, status wise. At the extreme right of the bell curve, there are a small number of eligible men for every “executive” or PhD woman.
Meanwhile, men have no problem marrying a woman who is less educated or less high up in the corporate hierarchy, as long as she’s enjoyable company (where “enjoyable company” is defined as being pleasant, affectionate, and enjoying frequent sex, as opposed to spending her day complaining about the patriarchy).
….”executive” or PhD woman.... = high maintenance.
I worked with a gal that has a PHD, she was one of the few PHD’s I have met that had common sense.
I enjoyed her very much and used to go out to breakfast and go hiking with her, but I always felt to low on the totem pole to ask her on a serious date.
My messy marital status may have contributed to the situation.
Now I am a freeborn old man!
