“Just sayin’ but I had never heard this game referred to as cornhole until this July 4th at a party I attended.
Now just 4 days later I hear it for only the second time.”

That word used to mean something completely different. The current usage defines a game for those too irresponsible for horse shoes or lawn darts.

I'm sure I was playing the exact same game on the 4th as this guy was on the cruise ship.

Rather rude term for such a tame game.

And yes, it is lawn darts for the short bus set.

I thought it's what happened when you bent over to retrieve the beanbag. Include me out. Rather take my chances as a lawn dart catcher.

if you throw bean bags you are playing beanbag.

this is name appropriation. no corn involved
