My friend and I are in agreement that Barrett is the right choice.
I could see really devout people being more upset with Bergoglio than I am.
What’s he record on 2nd amendment and immigration. The court is likely to weigh in on both many times. The roe v wade litmus test better not be putting these other issues on the back burner
Everyone knows that the president may have been too kind in his description.
Sorry, but when someone claims to have huge breaking news and posts a single tweet which is buried in his timeline, it does make me be a bit skeptical.
I suspect it’s just an educated guess and if he’s right it gives him something to boast about and if he’s wrong everyone will forget about it the next day.
Eventual emotional thinking is a cause for concern.
At the moment, I’m in favor given all of the spin surrounding the guys.
Yes on Pryor.
>what are the issues and whats your source
She adopted non-American kids. Need a source? a quick google will help you.
She’s a devout catholic (her words, youtube can help you), in a time where the current pope is to the left of Obama, on progressive issues, and spends a lot of time attacking Trump, and telling his flock world wide, how evil Trump is.
And third, her husband is a DOJ employee, at a time where I have zero faith/trust in that agency.
I think she was in Levin’s top 3. I know that I would be perfectly comfortable with Levin on the court for the next 10-15 years so I’m curious why he is so comfortable with her. He doesn’t seem like the one issue type. Any thoughts?
she’s the only one that’s said she’d overturn prior court rulings instead of claiming rvw is decided (like the rest of them).
I don’t see the other issues as proof (any more than the point I made) that she’s a lib. But I do trust Trump’s decision making on this if it’s her.
My thoughts also....
Pryor is 56 and not solid on religious freedom. Thomas joined the court at 43. So the younger may have the advantage even from an older president.
Only Trump knows.
Yep — he is a savvy business man and knows how to play his cards close to his chest.
if two buses are under the ramp how does that count???
Brickbat #2: Bell curves do not apply here.
Brickbat #3: Earl Warren.
Brickbat #4 - #n: William Alsup, Stephen Reinhard, Alfred Goodwin, and the rest of the clowns of the Ninth Circus Court. The number of *men* in the Federal Judiciary ruled by emotion, confident unexamined bias, and supremely dictatorial ideology, would be too long to conveniently list here.
How about selecting judges "not by the the shape of their sexual anatomy, but by the content of their character"?
Radical, I know.
Nonsense.
Perhaps the Clinton Foundation can produce the Bill of Sale.
And here come the the liberal and MSMLSD trash talkers.
>>And what do you think that’s going to do to change anything?
Possibly a few more votes in the Senate. That, could be a big game changer.
Are these people 9 and they cannot wait until Christmas morning.
