Looking down the road you have to wonder how this will affect these boys.
We know what happened with Elian Gonzalez.
Will they be influenced to join the military to become Thai SEALS like those rescuing them?
Will they pursue careers as national team soccer players?
Will they speak out against the very military that saved them like leftists do in America? (though I doubt that eventuality)
Only time will tell.

So far so good. It sounds like they were able to pump more of the water out before they started, and the boys are not having to do as much diving, which is a blessing.
