I don’t know if they’re going to do it train style because if one kid panics then that kid could block the passage if it’s in a narrow spot... forcing the ones behind to turn back... and it might not be a spot conducive to turning around in.
They might bring them to the next pocket, but in a narrow passage I would think they would only want one kid at a time until he clears it.

In approximately 4 hours, the first boy should arrive at the opening of the cave. Helicopters are ready to transport them to the hospital if their health is in a critical state. If not, they will be transported by an ambulance. The medic team is ready too. #ThaiCaveRescue

So if it was mostly walking, why does it take that long, I wonder...
The pumps are working!
Not sure what it all means, as 1st group was to be 4 boys, but now one rumor says 3 have been rescued, another says 2 rescued.
Walking out of the mouth of the cave does not mean that they walked the entire way. There is a diagram of the cave on the internet somewhere. In it you can see that there are several places where the passageway is either flooded too deep to walk or entirely submerged. I think that at least some of it is flowing water as well, not still like in a lake.
Now saying 4,that was the first group.#ThaiCaveRescue
No official reporting except for a few on line newspapers and locals. All taken to the hospital.
Thank you.
Thanks.
Welcome,Thanks for the thread.ABC is reporting 2 boys out.
First two boys have been rescued, local officials tell Reuters (Live Guardian update)

That's quite good and exciting, but I must ask:
Who had the idea that going into this cave was a good idea? How many times has this been done before? I heard it was an "initiation" of some sort for their scout unit. Could that be true?
BBC posts video of 2 ambulances leaving https://mobile.twitter.com/Howardrjohnson
3 miles underground? They had to work to get there,it wasn’t a lark. How is it the openings are so small to squeeze through when they are thinner but they got through when bigger? This coach caused all this.
Cave is open to the public until July.It has a sign in the front. The kids have been in this cave before.I don’t know who’s idea it was.

Why were the boys in the cave?
It appears they were taking part in a kind of INITIATION RITUAL, according to one of the rescue team members.
The boys left their backpacks and shoes before wading in and trying to go to the end of the tunnel, sort of like an initiation for local young boys to write your name on the wall and make it back, said Ben Reymenants. A flash flood because of sudden heavy rain locked them in, he added. ---
