Physician heal thyself. It is you who stated he had a "recent conversion" and "I dont think this is an act", while Scripture states that "Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them,"(Matthew 7:20) and thus Hebrews states that "beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation," (Hebrews 6:9) in contrast to those whose life evidences the contrary, and likewise based upon their evident response of the Thessalonians, "how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God" Paul stated "Knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God. (1 Thessalonians 1:4,9)
And 1 John 5:13 teaches one can know that they presently posses eternal life based upon their characteristics, and that contrariwise one has denied the faith by such basic disobedience as not providing for his own, (1Tim. 5:8) and impenitently sinning will-fully, (Heb. 10:25-39) and thus Paul hands a professed believer over to the devil in order to effect repentance unto salvation. (1 Co. 5:5)
It is true that we may not know now what the eternal end will be of souls, since they may come to faith or fall away, but that we can know one is a saved believer is Scriptural, and which was the issue in my response, and not how Snoop may end up. But he quite evidentially needs true conversion.
Note that only in the beginning of his performance he worked in his old style, then sang a song as a bridge to his new life “Tired of Running” and then the vast majority of it was gospel
God is all about transformation, consider David and all of his crimes yet when he turned away and took his lumps God called him a man after his own heart.
I am not in any way condoning his past behaviors, nor am I judging him. Discernment is another issue an I do not follow him or listen to his older music. I am cautiously optimistic that he like many others is awakening and realizing the error of his past and taking a new path in his life
I will pray for him as I do many others that the Holy Spirit will work on him and bring him home to the Lord
Amen My Brother
Amen
