Right now, they don’t really believe their mistakes were all that bad - just politics - but they’re starting to come around.
"They" is an awful big word. Do you have any idea of how many people are aware that actual serious crimes were committed by the previous administration, not just "mistakes" that were not "that bad"?
Even if that number is more than 20 million, that won’t make it happen.
So why then do YOU think Trump waits? He is obviously not acting now. He is not declassifying, he is not firing Rosenstein, he is taking no specific action to pursue justice against against those formerly in office, he is taking no action to support Congress in its fight with DOJ? Why do you think that is? He is obviously not as confident as you are that the people will rise up to defend him. He’s playing the political game. So why do you think he isn’t just giving orders to make it all happen? Because obviously he’s not.
