Maybe two hours after watching a famous Manila Bay sunset, I'll be able to watch a famous Alaskan Aurora Borealis laser light show.
This guy has an interesting 6-7 minute Youtube show every day (about 6 AM EDT) with cool multi-spectra shots of the sun and a good earth-weather overview.
(Give yourself a few days to get used to the presentation speed and be ready to hit the pause button if you want to inspect the info carefully)
My neighbor who works for NASA told me to get ready six months ago.
Solar minimum is a fact. We are going through a Maunder Minimum expect a mini ice age
Pole reversal has happened in past. Who knows if were going through one now
do I need to get extra sunblock cream? LOL
Twitter is now a respected science journal?
How is replication of tweets to be done?
So Pennsylvania will be in the southern US now?
Well, someone finally noticed! You’re on the right track. I’ve been watching and keeping track of news about the magnetic field deviation and extra activity for several years. There’s the extra outer core movement, too, by the way. More magma moving around a little faster, more methane leakage, several contributors to more ozone depletion and all of that.
Have fun. Enjoy the slide!
“Whoopie, we’re all going to die!”
No ice age or burning earth, by the way. ;-)
Only fluctuations toward heat (magnetic field movements and activities) and cold. We already have more common higher winds in at least some areas that I lived in during the 70s and before. And we’ve already seen the trend of off-and-on extended droughts in some areas (like the West—increased leaks, volcanism, etc.).
Here are some drought maps. Some droughts areas are still fine for agriculture (humidity and frequent enough rains) but might have slightly lower long term rain amounts for water tables (water supplies).

IMO, it’s virtually all natural. We and our machines aren’t big enough to change the weather much except for slightly different temps over our tiny cities (tiny relative to the earth and atmosphere). Volcanoes are much more powerful, as is increased natural methane leakage (goes with seismicity, volcanism due to increased core movement).
It’s not the end of the world. Only a bit of a geo-party.
Earth quakes with a side helping of extra solar radiation...so long Kalifornia....
Interesting bttt
