This is what we stand strong for, protect & why we do what we do.

Ah yes. The Battle of Cowpens
“Ah yes. The Battle of Cowpens”
Yes.
Pure FReeper motivation.
Must be played loud.
Read these incredible lyrics:
Iced Earth - “Declaration Day”
A desperate situation
Forced to retaliation
The task ahead a burden
Men will suffer, that’s for certain
We’ll charging to the fire
The cause, we must inspire
We raise our fist to tyranny
A high price, freedom is not free
The odds are stacked against us
But with our resolve relentless
An arrogance their weakness
Our cause is just, we won’t be beaten
Upon this deceleration
Will come a grand new nation
Where men are seen as equal
Governed by and for the people
So we make our stand and pray
On this Declaration Day
For independence I will fight
With liberty I will defy
So we make our stand and pray
On this Declaration Day
Give me liberty or give me death
I’ll fight ‘till my last breath
With virtue as our beacon
Our cause is charged as treason
Battle worn and starving
Through the hell of war we’ll keep marching
The birth of our new nation
An act of desperation
We’ll force King George down to his knees
Capitulation
So we make our stand and pray
On this Declaration Day
For independence I will fight
With liberty, I will defy
So we make our stand and pray
On this Declaration Day
Give me liberty or give me death
I’ll fight ‘till my last breath
Thanks! I haven’t heard them in a long while. They sound like they’ve listened to a lot of Dream Theater.
I would have never guessed it.
Jim - this patriotic video just may motivate you even more.

“”Wow, fellow FReepers into Iced Earth and Dream Theater !
I would have never guessed it.””
LOL! Yea, I like that, 80’s, Country & Christian. :-O
Did you like the video?
I saw them live back in Seattle during the 90’s. I only learned they were a patriotic band when the lead singer said in an interview he was a scholar of the Revolutionary War.

Cool!
I played this song for motivation to go door knocking 1,000’s of homes when I ran for elected office.
I listen to both regularly and have for a long time.
Yeah, thanks for the link.
But now I have to squeeze in watching "The Patriot" again tonight after getting my kids to bed and playing some rounds of COD WW2 with my buddies ...
Love Iced Earth...great video!
Wow dude. Um, did you win? ;)
My friend was a giutarist for Iced Earth in 2003-2004. He died of a heart attack a few weeks ago. And this looks like a good movie. I didnt know about it. Thanks for sharing.
