I kind of wish that were true. Maybe they are all just trolling us, like Q is trolling the internet. It really seems otherwise though.
What I figure happens is, they bought into the conspiracy theory when it was presented to them with out any contrasting critical examination. At a certain point, people’s beliefs get fixed, and if they see the contrary evidence after that, they are closed off to it and reject it without any real consideration. It’s an emotional response, so there isn’t much chance of reasoning with people at that point. Trump himself could come out and say “Q” is a fake, and I really think a lot of them would rationalize it away.
