Unrepentant and in denial to the end.

Unrepentant about the aid and comfort she provided for these former Nazis and SS types.

Loyalty to one’s father is not something you can hold against a baby.

The rest of the world has judged. She should not be expected to.

The whole story is like Luke turning to the dark side instead of saying “I’ll never join you”. Holocaust deniers usually deny it because they’d like to do it themselves.

Mrs. Burwitz, who was sometimes called a “Nazi princess” by supporters and detractors alike, remained unrepentant and loyal to her father to the end.

I think this has something to do with "Blood is thicker than water", type of thinking. Tom

“Unrepentant about the aid and comfort she provided for these former Nazis and SS types. “

She was 10 when the war started.

She survived to lead a long and comfortable life, which is more than one can say about her father’s victims, many more than six million of whom did not die during the war but whose lives were shortened and crippled by the obscenity that was Nazi Germany. No sympathy here, none.

More fake news from the Washington Post.

Nazi Germany’s highest-ranking official after Adolf Hitler

Original #2 Rudolph Hess (had to be thrown under the bus when his attempts to save British and German lives failed at the hands of Churchill.

Second #2 - Hermann Goering, until late April, 1945.

Final #2 - Karl Dönitz, who finally succeeded Hitler.

In the end her father turned on Hitler and tried to negotiate a separate peace with the Allies. Mostly to save his own neck. It came to nothing. When Hitler found out he went ballistic and ordered Himmler's arrest. Himmler managed to avoid capture until till late May of 1945 when the Brits caught him and he bit down on a cyanide capsule.

I believe Himmler has a grand-niece who is still alive and seems to be the opposite of this little bitch.

Look, I am disgusted with the Nazis myself, and hold Himmler in particular in utter contempt for his attempting to use humans like he did his chickens, not just with his role in the Holocaust, but also his role in the Lebensborne project, which involved the mass kidnapping and utter brainwashing of certain kids with blond hair and blue eyes (I’d even argue the Lebensborne have a lot of needless blame heaped onto them, being very much victims like the Jews). I’ll even go so far as to say that ultimately they’re no different from the Soviets in terms of atrocious behavior, not to mention other Communists. However, do we REALLY need to condemn his daughter? The only thing she might be guilty of is being defensive about her father. Unless you can provide evidence that she had played any direct and key roles in the holocaust, lebensborne, or any other Nazi crimes, we shouldn’t do a witch hunt on her or condemn her.

Sure, I would probably prefer it if she was more like Svletyana Stalin where she at least acknowledged her father was a truly monstrous individual, but she still hasn’t actually done anything bad beyond defending her father who happened to be a monster (which, BTW, one of the Commandments of the Bible literally demands we honor our mother and father). I thought “Sins of the Father” was something we are past now.
