Sanders also told C-SPAN that she believes White House press briefings still "can be" useful. Her predecessor Sean Spicer has a different stance, recently telling the Washington Examiner that briefings are "not serving a constructive purpose anymore."
Sanders said, however, the briefings "have become more at times about trying to have a gotcha moment or a breakout moment maybe for a reporter rather than trying to get information."
She declined to identify specific camera-mugging journalists, saying, "I think everybody who's tuned in can figure that one out on their own."

Sanders is certainly referring to that self-serving media whore Jim Acosta as one of the media asshats.
Press Secretary is a tough job as it is and Press Secretaries rarely last two years before they resign.
I think is 10 times as tough working under this POTUS with this rabid, hostile, out of control press corps. Plus she has had deal with the hostile, out of control American People. I can’t believe she hasen’t resigned yet.
She is the best Press Secretary since Tony Snow (and that is saying something!) and, frankly his time was a cakewalk compared to the weaponized msm she is facing.
Why run this circus every day?
Put it down to Mon-Wed-Fri, and if that doesn’t bring
the return of some simple decorum, make it Tue-Thur,
and if that doesn’t do it, make it Friday LATE in the
afternoon — say, 5:30 pm.
And If THAT doesn’t do it, make them unscheduled — when
called and announced ONLY.
Starve the beast.
“Rushing to judgment without the facts”. That’s called modern day journalism.
She’s too gentle with them, and too polite. They deserve scorn and derision.
You go girl!
BTW, these reporters know full well their tweets will be taken as hard news. They are fooling no one.
Every minute of a presidential press conference is an opportunity for the president’s press secretary to make a winning case on behalf of the president in the court of public opinion.
In the same way, every minute an attorney has to speak in a court of law on behalf of his or her client is an opportunity for him or her to further the client’s case.
During Sarah Sanders’s tenure as press secretary, Donald Trump’s approval ratings have gone continually upward.
At the same time, the fortunes of the liberal media, which has attacked Donald Trump and Sarah Sanders at every opportunity, have continually fallen. CNN can barely attract 700,000 viewers a day.
Sarah Sanders is not only doing an outstanding job, she’s also probably enjoying it, just as great attorneys enjoy taking on difficult cases.
You’re being too diplomatic, Sarah. They’re not making mistakes they’re lying.
