It’s the right drink to have, when you’re having more than one... Orion hottie.

Likely a product of MGP in Indiana, but might still be drinkable. MGP produces a lot of “craft” whiskeys...some not too bad. Sadly a lot of craft distillers do not disclose their stuff is made in Indiana and hype their craft brand

where is the Romulan ale???

They need to hurry up with the Romulan Ale before it becomes illegal in a few hundred years.

Not sure what they’re going to name after Sulu but the ad line should be “you’ll have a gay old time.”

Oh I’m sure it’s fine stuff. Any number of far more pretentious peddlers label the same stuff with different made-up stories about grampa’s original recipe, the old still hidden in the barn, that special spring water that’s naturally just the right temperature, whatever. You’re paying for the bottle and the flowery prose, not what’s in it.

“Silver Screen Bottling Company” itself has zero web presence, so any claims about having been in the business for “4 to 12 years” is the same old bunk.

Load Mr. Sulu up with this stuff and he’d be prepared to let you go where no man has gone before.

In his case, there is no such place.

You might want to look into some Japanese product.
Some age their product in other than Oak casks, giving a different taste.
One place to start is: https://www.suntory.com/factory/yamazaki/
****
It is all in the taste buds of the drinker and this is a nice one.
http://www.oldripvanwinkle.com/whiskey/family-reserve-23-year/
It sells for more than they say.
I can’t afford. it unless my rich aunt makes a noise like a frog!
The 18 year is not bad.
