JFK, my guesses
Pro:
warned against CIA
threatened to shut it down
patriotic IMO
Con:
womanizer, kind of sleazy
bedroom antics jeopardized national security
father bought the election
drugs?
born to the cabal? (maybe rebelled against it?)
I recently watched some videos about JFK Jr. death. It was VERY pro-Democrat and pro-Kennedy. Made the assertion that Jr. was murdered. Very plausible, lots of evidence. Made the assertion that Teddy was framed by drugging him at Chappaquiddick. Interesting theory, but no evidence given.
At this point, I could be surprised and change my opinion about many things if evidence is provided. But I have never liked Teddy, so it would take a LOT of solid evidence.
I agree with your take on JFK.
Neither of us like Ted. He was a dissolute character trying to live up to some impossible standard. I’ve known a few people like that—they tend to be hyporcritical with respect to their high standards in their personal conduct, neurotic, and prone to drug abuse.
As for JFK Jr.—I haven’t followed the conspiracy angle too closely. I thought he was a genial pretty boy of Kennedy royalty. I read that he wasn’t an experienced pilot—I think that’s well known. I also read (but don’t stand behind) an account that his wife was flighty, needing, and demanding, and in this case demanded they fly that night. That would preclude conspiracy theories, if true.
But, I have no trouble with historical fiction, and the fictional possibility of JFK Jr. being a threat to HRC. I just don’t think that’s what happened.
I have read that after the Chappaquiddick incident there was a liberal comedian who began speaking out about how Teddy had been framed. He was soon blackballed by the media and couldn't get work for a long time. I think his name was Mort Saul.
