We are Verizon customers and have been for about eight years.
Was watching the tube with the family last night when a Verizon commercial came on showing kids making the "coming out" call to their parents... My ten year old was watching. The commercial ended with Verizon endorsing and throwing their support towards an Organization calling itself PFLAG which stands for Parents, Friends, Families and Friends of the LQBTQ.
We called Sprint this morning... I have four new Galaxy S7s headed my way, I'm saving $90.00 per month, unlimited data and Sprint is paying off what we owe Verizon.
I know Sprint most likely supports organizations like this too, but I haven't seen any indoctrination commercials on television, yet. If we do, we'll find another vendor.
Just thought some folks would want to know.
Where do you turn to for a mobile?
AT&T-Owns Cricket Wireless, now owns CNN and Warner Bros
Verizon - owns Yahoo, AOL, Huffington Post
Sprint - owns Boost and Virgin Mobile, in the process of being merged into German-owned T-Mobile-who also owns MetroPCS
Xfinity -NBC/Comcast
Tracfone -owned by Mexican/Arab billionaire S(a)lim Helu
The other guys use the sticks of the big mobile companies.
Yeah, I hear ya, but at least they aren’t “coming out” in open support with focused commercials. No pun intended...
Cricket is owned by ATT. No Monthly Contracts and they give out free Smart Phones when you sign up.
Plans start at $30 a Month and they use the ATT Network. Download speeds are limited compared to regular ATT Service.
We have been on ATT for years. I found out that if you try to go from ATT to Cricket the free goodies don’t apply.
As I said in #60, I use Consumer Cellular. They use AT&T towers. But, IMHO, CC’s customer service is MUCH better than AT&T. I had AT&T for awhile (several weeks) and was very turned off by their customer service.
What a change with CC. Have answered every question I had. Has bent over backwards to help me as a new cell phone user.
Yes, my cell phone calls travel over the AT&T network but I don’t have to interact with AT&T at all. I’m really happy with CC.
These PC commercials have been on for a while now but it seems just about EVERY commercial is either a black family, black kids, mixed-race family or Muslim/Eastern Asia/African families.
And they’re not portrayed as poor, low-income living in bad parts of town. They’re in fancy houses with high tech gadgets and expensive cars.
Another thing: There are very few attractive people either. They’re all ORDINARY-looking, except the couples in swimsuits on the commercials for cruises.
A white blond family with white blond kids is just about non-existent.
I saw a commercial with a white guy walking around w a little black girl, ending w them at an ice cream parlor and thought “why is this white guy tagging along w this black girl?” and then it dawned on me that they were dad/daughter, which represents about .01 of the people in my town. I have no idea what the product was-all I remember was how odd it looked.
Yep, there are 3-4 just like that. I think Geico or something has one with a White guy, Black wife, storyline is how he has become like his Father. Not good if the sponsor cannot be remembered.
Or you could try a Sprint reseller that has lower prices and great customer service. I use Tello. It has a whole raft of inexpensive plans, all with free unlimited text messaging. I get by on $9 a month with 200 minutes and 200 MB of data, which works because I can call for free with Google Voice whenever I’m connected to WIFI, which for me is almost all the time. Similarly, you don’t use data when you’re connected to WIFI. You can set it up so that it all occurs automatically. You will get a notice if you are going to call on the network. Of course if coverage is your problem, that is not going to be fixed by using a reseller. I’ve personally never had a problem with Sprint coverage, even at the cabin out in the boonies. YMMV.
If you’re in their service area, U.S. Cellular is good choice. Good coverage, great customer service. They are the largest regional company in the country.
Sprint has the worst service of any of the big carriers. I have been told this by everyone I know who ever had Sprint.
I was interested in Sprint’s cheaper unlimited plan, so I switched. I was with Sprint for ONE DAY. The service was so lousy that my phone was essentially a brick. Immediately switched back to my previous provider.
Well, that’s not good. We’ll see how it goes... Thnaks for the feedback.
One answer: PATRIOT MOBILE.
They are an unapologetically conservatives cell service company which donates a portion of their proceeds to conservatives causes. Not even Sprint can claim that (they are as left as Verizon.).
I believe they operate on the Sprint network, but take your opportunities as you can find them.
We need to come up with another word for that 6 striped anti-G-d pro-sin advertisement. Only thing I can come up with is hexaflag.
You left out disease that
You left out disease
Its fascism plain and simple
This will all be just one part of the ideology that one will have to accept to receive the mark of the beast.
Corporations seem to just stupidly lap it up. I do not believe that the mark on your head and your hand would be a device right away as much as just having to do with what you think (your head) and what you do (with you hands). You are rejecting it already. Good.
